Does Coffee Lower Your Vibration?
Dec 31, 2022As you start learning about vibrational energy, it's natural to evaluate your habits. In truth, there are things we do to raise and lower our vibrational energy throughout each day.
And while energy fluctuations are natural, we really should try to avoid any vibration-lowering habits.
And as much as this pains me to say, drinking coffee is one of those habits.
Coffee drinking does lower your vibration.
Read on to learn more about your own energy and how coffee may be doing you more harm than good. Trust me, this is as difficult for me as it is for you.
What is vibrational energy?
You've probably heard and maybe even said the phrase, "Good vibes only." But most of us only have a basic understanding of what this means. And some mistakenly believe the "vibes" we're speaking of here are figurative.
There's actually a lot of science behind this, and we'll cover it in-depth in another post, but in order to understand how coffee lowers your vibrational energy, you must first understand that you are made of vibrating particles and energy. The same is true for the world around you.
Now, I know what you're thinking.
Why, then, do things feel solid? And the answer is that the microscopic particles of which you are made are constantly bouncing off of each other and creating resistance.
We can't see the vibrations because they're too small, but they are there nonetheless.
When you look at something under a microscope, you'll see molecules. If you have a stronger microscope, you can see the atoms that make up each molecule. If you break those atoms down, you'll find protons and electrons. Electrons orbit the protons, which creates a vibration.
So when we talk about raising or lowering our vibrations, we're actually talking about vibrational speed. Raising your vibration means vibrating at a higher speed.
Knowing this, it's tempting to think that caffeine would raise your vibration because it gives you a boost of energy. And as much as I'd like to believe that to be true, it's not.
How coffee lowers your vibration
We tell ourselves that we need coffee for energy, but in the long run, coffee will only deplete your energy. It causes a spike and crash, much like sugar.
But because we need to keep performing, we can't handle the crashes. And so we become addicted to coffee.
And unfortunately, coffee will lower your vibration again and again. It's really not the best way to start your day.
According to the measuring process outlined in David Hawkin’s book, Power vs. Force, coffee vibrates at a frequency of 223 out of 1,000.
Now, that's not the worst frequency, but it's also no the best. If our goal is 1,000, we should really avoid these lower frequency crutches.
How coffee's frequency affects you
There's a lot we can say about the actual frequency of coffee and whether it changes as you drink it, and vibrational frequency is a bit of an abstract concept for many. But what really matters is how this frequency affects your life.
And there's one easy way for you to know without a shadow of a doubt that coffee lowers your vibrational energy.
Here it is...
Anxiety is associated with lower vibrations. And we all know that coffee is linked to anxiety [study]. As you achieve higher vibrational levels, you will feel more and more peace and happiness.
High vibration alternatives to coffee
I'm currently in the process of quitting coffee myself, and I know it's not easy. The journey will be different for everyone depending on your level of dependence, but going cold turkey is nearly an impossibility for most people.
We still have to function on a daily basis, so it might be best to wean yourself off coffee and caffeine until you can actually quit.
Here are some tips that are working for me:
Add a daily green smoothie to your day
A green smoothie is a great way to get loads of high-vibe fruits and veggies into your diet. And while these may not give you a jolt like coffee would, they will raise your energy level over time. After a few weeks of daily green smoothies, I found it easier to kick caffeine to the curb because my body had more natural energy.
Start your day with a mushroom elixir
Mushrooms are an amazing way to raise your energy, and you can create a hot mushroom elixir that's similar to coffee. Even if you're not a fan of mushrooms, you may enjoy this. Four Sigmatic even has a mushroom-coffee blend that can help wean you off the bean.
Drink herbal tea instead
I start my day with a mushroom elixir, but I can't seem to fight the urge to hit up any of the local Starbucks later in the day. This is only because I work from home and I need to get out sometimes. But I've found that (after limiting coffee) it was easy enough to keep this routine and just order an herbal tea.
Start your day with a workout
There are still days when I feel like I just want coffee. But if I start my day with a workout, two things happen. First, I don't have much time to contemplate a cup of Joe. I have to get myself out the door for the 8:30 class. And second, I definitely feel energized after the workout, so I can power through the rest of the day just fine.
How about you? Do you notice that coffee has had a negative impact on your life? Have you ever tried to quit? I'd love to hear about your personal experience.
